A Voice For Arizona
Dad of 6, fighting to preserve the American Dream & conservative values
Juan grew up right here in Arizona’s 6th congressional district, and has dedicated his career to our community.
As an immigrant American, Juan’s love of country and patriotism were born out of his upbringing in a working-class family. His parents instilled in him conservative values, a strong work ethic, and an optimistic can-do attitude.
Juan was the first from his family to achieve a higher education, graduating from Pima Community College and the University of Arizona – earning scholarships to pay for college.
Whether it was advocating for lower taxes and lighter regulations on behalf of small business owners to the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, or leading efforts around border security and international trade for the state of Arizona – Juan’s professional career has been focused on making life better in Arizona.
In 2022, Juan was elected to represent us in the United States Congress – becoming the first naturalized American citizen from Mexico elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in Arizona’s history.
As a member of the appropriations committee, Juan fights for fiscal responsibility and bringing back tax payer dollars to our district. As a member of the veterans affairs committee, Juan works tirelessly on behalf of the over 70,000 veterans who call our district home.
Juan and Laura value faith, life and family as the proud parents of six active kids, who they are raising in Tucson. Juan’s favorite activities include coaching his kids’ flag football teams and also volunteering in his church.
In 2024, he was reelected by the voters of the district.
