Ciscomani has $2.1 Million War Chest, Hundreds of Supporters Onhand to Defend His Congressional Seat

TUCSON, AZ. – More than 200 enthusiastic friends and supporters from across southeastern Arizona joined Juan Ciscomani and his family on Sunday to kick off the congressman's much-anticipated reelection campaign.

With his wife Laura and their six children by his side, Ciscomani told the cheering crowd that his record of accomplishments and optimistic vision for the future  are resonating with voters across Arizona’s 6th Congressional District.

"We are going to win this race," Ciscomani said.

As his parents and sisters looked on, the first-term congressman said his campaign's strong financial position - it has more than $2 million on hand - means it has the resources to make sure his message his heard.

"We're ready for this fight," he said.

Ciscomani’s confidence was embraced by the audience, which included Republicans, Democrats and independents from each of the district's five counties. The mayors of Sahuarita, Benson and Douglas were on hand, as well as a Graham County Supervisor, a state lawmaker and a member of the Arizona Corporation Commission. Attendees also included members of his Citizens Advisory and Veterans Advisory councils.

"Juan has deep, broad support from across our amazingly diverse district and Sunday’s kick-off reflected that," said campaign manager Juan O'Leary. "Voters see how hard he's working, how much he cares and how important it is to have him as their champion in Washington."

Ciscomani in 2022 became the first naturalized American born in Mexico to be elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona. Since then he has advocated for his district by serving on the powerful Appropriations and Veterans committees.

Ciscomani is laser-focused on finding solutions to the border crisis and addressing the real needs of CD6, such as the widening on I-10, strengthening our economy and increasing opportunities for the women and men who've served in our armed forces.

Because of his own family's journey, Ciscomani has made the American Dream a signature feature of his rssults-driven approach to his role as congressman. "This is a fight to preserve, protect and expand the American Dream," he said.

Ciscomani is running for reelection in Arizona's 6th Congressional District. This district includes areas of Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima and Pinal counties as well as a portion of the Arizona-Mexico border.
