Record-Breaking Momentum Continues: Juan Ciscomani Raises More than $815,000 in Second Quarter Fundraising

TUCSON, ARIZONA – Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) reported another historic fundraising quarter, raising over $815,000 from April 1 through June 30, 2023. This fundraising haul marks one of the strongest fundraising quarters in district history – this is on top of the more than $1 million raised by Ciscomani in the first quarter of this year. Ciscomani starts the third quarter of 2023 with over $1.6 million cash on hand.

"I’m very grateful for the incredible showing of support that we’ve seen for continuing our work on behalf of the people in Arizona’s 6th Congressional District,” said Ciscomani. “Being the voice of my hometown in the United States House of Representatives is a job I am honored to have been hired to do. We are working around the clock to stand up for the people of our district, and we will be bringing our message of the American Dream to every corner of our community, thanks to the generous support of so many hard-working Arizonans.”

This tremendous show of support, with a significant proportion of the funds originating from Arizona, underlines the continuing momentum following Congressman Ciscomani’s groundbreaking victory in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District (AZ-06). Here, he set a historic precedent becoming the first naturalized Mexican-American to represent Arizona in Congress.

Since being elected, Ciscomani delivered the GOP's only Congressional response to President Biden's State of the Union address and did so in Spanish; fought for responsible spending amidst debt-ceiling negotiations; was appointed to the Congressional Task Force to combat dangerous drug cartels; and serves on the House Appropriations Committee and House Veterans’ Affairs Committee. Most notably, he championed several significant pieces of bipartisan legislation, one aimed at reducing VA wait times and another working to cover costs for veterans seeking job training in high-tech industries.

Congressman Ciscomani's successful Q2 fundraising includes:

  • MONUMENTAL SUPPORT: Funding for Ciscomani’s 2024 re-election campaign has now expanded by more than $815,000 this quarter, setting a new benchmark in Arizona’s 6th District.

  • COALITION-BUILDING LEADERSHIP: Through relentless efforts, Congressman Ciscomani has fostered a diverse coalition of support across southeastern Arizona, encompassing  all five AZ-06 counties: Pima, Pinal, Graham, Greenlee, and Cochise.

  • COMMUNITY-FOCUSED REPRESENTATION: Ciscomani has remained grounded in southern Arizona, regularly traveling between the district and Washington D.C., attending community celebrations, fighting for the over 70,000 veterans who live in the districts, speaking at local coalition meetings, and honoring Arizona’s brave veterans and law enforcement officers at related events.
