Congressman Juan Ciscomani Raises More Than $1 Million During First Fundraising Quarter

Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) raised more than $1 million total in the first tranche of the 2023 fundraising year – one of the strongest first fundraising quarters ever for an Arizona House Member

TUCSON — Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), reported one of the largest fundraising quarters in district history, raising more than $1 million to his campaign committee and other Republican groups from January 1 through March 31 of this fiscal year.

This strong show of support – with the majority of the dollars coming from Arizona – follows a historic victory in Arizona’s sixth congressional district (AZ-06), in which Juan became the first naturalized Mexican-American citizen to represent the state of Arizona in Congress.

Since being elected, Juan has had an incredibly active and successful first three months: Delivering the GOP’s response to President Biden’s State of the Union in Spanish; nominating and voting for Speaker Kevin McCarthy; serving in the U.S. House Committee on Appropriations; introducing bipartisan legislation aimed to benefit veterans by cutting VA wait times and permanently authorizing the U.S. VET-TEC Program; establishing a bipartisan citizen’s advisory council; and presiding over the U.S. House Floor.

For Juan, these dollars will help to build upon recent momentum as he strives to help all AZ-06 constituents to have a shot at the American dream.

“I am so grateful for the outpouring of support for our reelection effort,” said Ciscomani. “Serving in the United States Congress and representing my home state and hometown is the honor of a lifetime. We haven’t missed a beat – criss-crossing this district and advocating for our seniors, veterans, women, children and the most vulnerable from our first day in Office.. This incredible show of force is thanks to the contributions of thousands of neighbors, friends, small businesses owners and fellow Arizonans who share a desire to get things done on behalf of our community.”

Here’s a breakdown of Juan’s most recent fundraising quarter, by the numbers:

  • HISTORIC SUPPORT: Juan raised more than $1 million this fundraising quarter for his committee and others – one of the most ever for a first quarter in the AZ-06 district.

  • INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP: Juan and his team have worked tirelessly to listen to all Southeastern Arizonans resulting in widespread and bipartisan, grassroots support across all five AZ-06 counties: Pima, Pinal, Graham, Greenlee, and Cochise.

  • COMMUNITY-DRIVEN SERVICE: Juan works for Arizona’s 6th congressional district, not Washington D.C. He’s traveled back and forth from the district to our nation’s capitol every week to be present for the district while representing his constituents. Whether it’s for a daddy-daughter dance, an opening ceremony for a new small business, or a dinner event celebrating Arizona veterans, Juan continues to stay engaged and present throughout the community.
