TUCSON - Congressman Juan Ciscomani today announced the endorsement of seven local mayors from communities across Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District, underscoring his record of working closely with local leaders to deliver results for the district.

The following mayors have endorsed Ciscomani’s re-election campaign:

  • Eloy Mayor Andrew Sutton

  • Willcox Mayor Greg Hancock

  • Marana Mayor Jon Post

  • Sahuarita Mayor Tom Murphy

  • Thatcher Mayor Jenny Howard

  • Duncan Mayor Alex Blake

  • Benson Mayor Joe Konrad

"I am honored to have the support of these outstanding local leaders," said Ciscomani. "Mayors are on the front lines every day, working to solve problems and improve the lives of their residents. I am grateful for their partnership and trust. Together, we've secured meaningful investments for our communities, strengthened public safety, supported local economic growth, and delivered real results for Southern Arizona. I look forward to continuing that work."

Ciscomani has worked closely with local governments throughout Arizona’s 6th Congressional District to secure federal resources for critical infrastructure, public safety, water, transportation, and economic development projects. As Arizona’s sole member of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees delegation, he has helped deliver more than $60 million in direct investments to communities across the region during his first three and a half years in Congress. Meanwhile, Ciscomani’s opponent JoAnna Mendoza continues to rack up the out-of-district, out-of-touch, far left endorsements.

Mayor Tom Murphy – “As a Veteran myself, Juan has delivered for Veterans in our congressional district, but also across our state and nation. From working to make home loans more affordable for Veterans to ensuring they are able to access their VA benefits, Juan has our back. I proudly endorse Juan Ciscomani for Congress!”

Mayor Andrew Sutton — “I have worked closely with Juan over the last few years with most recently him preliminarily securing around $7 million coming back to Eloy for roads. Through his work, Juan has ensured that our local economy will continue to thrive and grow. Juan has proven himself to be a leader that Eloy can trust and rely on, and I am proud to stand with him for reelection this November.”

Mayor Jon Post — “Having a representative that understands the need to deliver on critical issues is key to our success in Marana.  From relief through the recent Farm Bill which lowers energy and food costs to funding water projects in Marana. The results speak for themselves: Juan Ciscomani has delivered and he has my total endorsement for reelection this November!”

Thatcher Mayor Jenny Howard — “Juan has proven himself to be a friend to the people of Graham County. He has stood with rural communities like our’s, delivering funds for water projects and infrastructure that were in desperate need of repairs. When it comes to continued funding for our rural communities, Juan is the leader I trust to get the job done.”

Mayor Alex Blake — “Juan has been steadfast in his support for the town of Duncan. Through his efforts, our town has received critical resources for infrastructure like roads and flood mitigation. And we were able to pave a road in our community for the first time in 48 years because of funding Juan secured. This will have a lasting impact on our community, helping to ensure the town of Duncan can support future generations. I am grateful to Juan for the work he has done in office and am pleased to stand with him this year.”

Mayor Joe Konrad — “My community is my priority. From his first day in office, Congressman Juan Ciscomani has worked to ensure Benson receives the federal funding it needs to meet the local community's unique needs. Juan has fought to bring back funding for our fire department and neighboring fire agencies, creating a safer and healthier environment for our firefighters and first responders and improving our capacity to serve Benson's residents. Additionally, he is currently fighting to secure $2 million in funding for essential improvements to the Benson Hospital. Benson Hospital is a cornerstone of the Benson community, serving the healthcare needs of not only Benson but all of Cochise County. I thank Juan for his efforts in advocating for quality rural healthcare and delivering for our community.”

Mayor Greg Hancock — “As Mayor, I appreciate the work Congressman Juan Ciscomani has done on behalf of Southern Arizona. His support for projects such as funding for Northern Cochise Community Hospital and the Chiricahua National Park Act demonstrates a commitment to issues that matter to our community. I value the partnership we have developed and appreciate his willingness to work with rural communities like Willcox. I look forward to continuing to work together on behalf of the residents of Willcox.”

The endorsements reflect Ciscomani’s broad support across the diverse communities that make up Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District, from rural towns to rapidly growing municipalities.

Ciscomani is running for re-election in Arizona’s 6th congressional district where he first won in 2022 and again in 2024. In 2026, he is running for his third term to represent the southeastern portion of Arizona which includes portions of Pima, Pinal, Cochise, Graham and Greenlee counties, in addition to part of the Arizona-Mexico border. Ciscomani currently serves on the House Appropriations and Veterans’ Affairs committees and has secured more than $60 million in federal funding through the Community Project Funding process.
