TUCSON – Following a record-breaking show of fundraising in his first quarter, Republican congressional candidate Juan Ciscomani advanced today to “On the Radar” status in the National Republican Congressional Campaigns (NRCC) Young Guns program. The program recognizes candidates across the country who have built serious and winning campaigns.
“We’re building a campaign to fight back against the national Democrats and win,” Ciscomani said. “Our early entry into this important national program is just another indicator of the strong support we are building here on the ground. Laura and I are thankful to everyone who has joined our team to win back this seat for Southern Arizona so that we can fire Nancy Pelosi as Speaker and hold the Biden White House accountable.”
Ciscomani raised $600,000 in just his first eight weeks as a candidate, he announced earlier this week. The record-shattering haul after only 58 days as a candidate, outpaces previous Southern Arizona candidates in their first fundraising quarter and demonstrates momentum behind Ciscomani’s campaign to represent Southern Arizona in the United States Congress.
The NRCC’s Young Guns program requires candidates to work towards specific goals and meet benchmarks throughout the election cycle to ensure their campaigns remain competitive, well-funded and communicative within their districts.
