In Record-Breaking Effort, 94 Percent Of Ciscomani's Donations Are From In State

TUCSON — Republican congressional candidate Juan Ciscomani raised more than $600,000 in just his first eight weeks as a candidate, his campaign announced today – a record for Southern Arizona.

The record-shattering haul after only 58 days as a candidate, outpaces previous Southern Arizona candidates in their first fundraising quarter and demonstrates momentum behind Ciscomani’s campaign to represent Southern Arizona in the United States Congress.

Ciscomani’s impressive effort in his first reporting period as a candidate even outpaces that of Ann Kirkpatrick’s first run in Arizona’s Second District in 2017 – and at the time, Kirkpatrick was a former member of Congress with a statewide and national fundraising base. Ciscomani’s effort is Arizona-based –  in total, 94 percent of his donations came from within the state.

“I am blown-away by the strong support our campaign has attracted in these first few weeks. Laura and I could not be more grateful,” said Ciscomani. “We need accountability in Washington, especially with the reckless policies we are seeing from the Biden-Harris administration. Our community will quite literally decide which party controls the United States Congress. I am from Southern Arizona, for Southern Arizona, and as our campaign continues to grow and gain support, I am confident we will have the resources and energy to take on the Democrats and make Nancy Pelsoi a former Speaker.”

About Juan:
Juan grew up right here in Southern Arizona, and has dedicated his career to fighting on behalf of our community and giving us a voice. As a first generation American, his love of country and patriotism were born out of his upbringing in a working-class family.  Juan’s parents instilled in him conservative values, a strong work ethic, and an optimistic can-do attitude.

While attending public schools in Tucson, Juan held several jobs and earned scholarships to pay for school. He was the first from his family to achieve a higher education, graduating from Pima Community College and the University of Arizona.

Too many politicians talk about the border, but have never even been to the border. Juan knows first-hand the need to secure our border. As Senior Advisor to Governor Ducey for more than 6 years, Juan has worked closely with Border Patrol, border sheriffs, ranchers and residents along the border to bring resources and attention to our border crisis. In Congress, Juan will fight for policies that secure our border because he knows border security is national security.

Juan’s family story is the American story. He strongly believes America is the land of opportunity. During his time at the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, he fought for lower taxes and the elimination of unnecessary regulations on behalf of small business owners.

Juan and Laura value faith, life and family as the proud parents of six active kids: Zoe, Juan IV, Kenneth, Lily, Lucas and Gloria, who they are raising in Tucson. Juan’s favorite activities include coaching his kids’ flag football teams and also volunteering in his church.
