Ciscomani's Latest Ad Details The Failed Policies Endorsed by Engel Which Have Failed Arizona's 6th Congressional District

TUCSON – Congressman Juan Ciscomani's campaign has released a new, hard-hitting ad titled "They Failed Us", set to air across Arizona's 6th Congressional District. The ad calls out the failure of the Biden-Harris administration in their handling of the border crisis and Kirsten Engel’s outright denial that an immigration crisis even exists at our southern border. This mishandling of immigration policy has left Arizona communities vulnerable to dangerous criminals, drugs, and crushing inflation.

Engel would be a rubber stamp for these failed policies. While in the state legislature, Engel voted against the border strike force and supported defunding the police, leaving our communities more vulnerable. And most recently, Engel says we do not have an immigration crisis.

Ciscomani's record is clear: he supported the most robust border security legislation (H.R. 2), introduced border legislation that passed the House with all Republican support as well as 56 Democrats, has voted repeatedly to increase Border Patrol pay, advocated for the agents to receive their pay immediately, and has supported increase assets and technology to secure the southern border. 

"The Biden-Harris administration's failed immigration and border policies have exposed Arizona to unprecedented threats and vulnerabilities,” stated Rep. Juan Ciscomani. “Every day, our communities witness the escalation of crime and the surge of fentanyl on our streets. It's disturbing and out-of-touch that Kirsten Engel refuses to acknowledge we have an immigration crisis, choosing instead to support policies that offer benefits to illegal immigrants while Arizonans suffer the severe consequences of these failed policies. Even more than 3 decades ago when I immigrated with my family, the immigration system was broken. Today, we are seeing an immigration, national security, and border crisis. As the only candidate who lives in the district, I feel the sense of urgency in our community to secure the border and restore safety, security, and affordability."
