NFIB Endorses Juan Ciscomani, Highlights Record of Delivering for Arizona Small Businesses

TUCSON - The Ciscomani for Congress campaign announced today that NFIB Fed PAC, the political action committee of the National Federation of Independent Business, has endorsed Congressman Juan Ciscomani for re-election in Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District. NFIB is the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, representing small business owners in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. 

This endorsement is a strong reflection of Ciscomani’s record of delivering results for Arizona’s business community. Small businesses cannot grow, hire, or plan for the future without consistency and predictability, and throughout his time in Congress, Ciscomani has worked to be that steady partner for the small business owners who power Southern Arizona’s economy. 

That record is seen in the Working Families Tax Cut, which Ciscomani voted for to permanently extend the small business tax deduction, a change worth a combined $169.8 million increase in the qualified business income deduction for more than 89,330 small and pass-through businesses across AZ-06. A permanent deduction, rather than one business owners have to plan around year after year, is exactly the kind of certainty and stability that lets Southern Arizona’s small businesses invest and grow. It is the same common sense approach that earned Ciscomani recognition from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as a leader on tax reform. That record of results carries over to the rest of his work in Congress, where the nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking ranked Ciscomani the most effective member of Arizona’s congressional delegation, a distinction he has put to use as a member of the House Appropriations Committee, working across the aisle to deliver the stability small business owners need.
