Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions Endorses Congressman Juan Ciscomani for Re-Election
TUCSON - Congressman Juan Ciscomani has been endorsed by Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES), part of the organization's first round of 2026 congressional endorsements. Ciscomani is one of just 22 House Republicans nationwide and the only member of Arizona's delegation to earn a spot on this initial slate, which recognizes lawmakers who have championed an all-of-the-above approach to American energy security.

The endorsement reflects Ciscomani's record as one of Congress's leading voices on domestic energy and mineral security, an issue with direct stakes for Southern Arizona's economy. He authored the Critical Mineral Consistency Act, which passed the House with bipartisan support and aligns federal lists of critical minerals to speed up permitting for copper and other resources essential to America's energy future. He also co-led the Streamlining Home Installation of New Energies (SHINE) Act, bipartisan legislation to cut red tape and speed up local permitting for residential solar and battery storage. He applauded the $1 billion Ivanhoe Santa Cruz Copper Project investment near Casa Grande and $180 million in mining education grants, including at the University of Arizona, home to a state that produces nearly 70 percent of the nation's domestic copper supply. Ciscomani also supported the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, working to secure Arizona's priorities and strengthen the domestic supply chains that reduce reliance on China.
The CRES endorsement adds to Ciscomani's growing coalition of bipartisan, business, and community support heading into November, and reflects his record of delivering practical, results-driven solutions.
