New Digital Ad: Meet The Real JoAnna Mendoza
Mendoza backs taxpayer-funded transgender surgeries, opposes protections for girls' sports, and wants to end tax cuts for Arizona families
TUCSON - The Ciscomani campaign launched a new digital ad today exposing JoAnna Mendoza's extreme record using her own words, including footage that Mendoza and her allies have attempted to erase from public view.
As Mendoza works to introduce herself to voters, the Ciscomani campaign says Arizona families deserve to know exactly where she stands.
The new ad reveals Mendoza is far more aligned with the priorities of the extreme left than the concerns of everyday Arizonans struggling with rising costs. Drawing from videos Mendoza hoped voters would never see, the ad paints a stark picture of an agenda that is out of touch with the challenges facing working families across Southern Arizona.
Mendoza is on record calling legislation to protect female athletes "harmful" and "toxic." But the deleted videos reveal positions that go even further.
In footage her allies attempted to scrub from the internet, Mendoza was asked whether she supports making transgender medical procedures — including hormone therapy and surgeries — fully available through government programs.
Her answer: "Yes… I mean, they're offering it on a federal level. We should offer it on the state level.”
Mendoza has also called for ending tax cuts, tax credits, and sales tax exemptions that help Arizona families keep more of what they earn.
At a time when families are struggling with the cost of groceries, housing, childcare, and everyday necessities, the last thing Arizonans need is higher taxes and more government spending.
While Mendoza embraces the priorities of the far left, Congressman Juan Ciscomani is focused on lowering costs, cutting wasteful spending, and creating more economic opportunity for Arizona families.
"JoAnna Mendoza has been trying to hide her record, and it's not hard to see why," said Ciscomani General Consultant Daniel Scarpinato. "She supports taxpayer-funded transgender surgeries, opposes protections for girls' sports, and wants to end tax cuts that help families make ends meet. That's not what Arizona families are asking for. They're worried about paying their bills, affording a home, and building a better future for their kids. JoAnna Mendoza's agenda would make life more expensive, and Arizonans simply can't afford it. Juan will keep fighting to lower costs, protect taxpayers, and deliver results for the families he represents."
The new digital ad ensures voters can hear Mendoza's positions directly from the source: JoAnna Mendoza herself.
