NEW AD: Ciscomani Launches “Get Things Done”
TUCSON - Congressman Juan Ciscomani launched a new ad highlighting his record of putting Arizona first and delivering results for Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District.
In his short time in Congress, Ciscomani has consistently put the people of Arizona ahead of politics in Washington. He's worked with both parties to get things done, stood up to the political games that have repeatedly brought Washington to a standstill, and kept his focus on the people of Arizona's Sixth Congressional District.
Ciscomani’s record:
Record funding for cancer research: Ciscomani has pushed to secure increased federal investment in cancer research, including funding tied to University of Arizona partnerships, and has backed the latest Labor-HHS funding package that expands cancer and Alzheimer's research dollars nationwide.
Making homeownership more available for veterans: Ciscomani co-led the VA Home Loan Affordability Act, legislation that cuts the wait for VA-certified home appraisers from up to five years down to as little as 12 to 18 months and caps closing costs — cutting the red tape that has locked veterans, especially in rural communities, out of buying a home.
Over $60 million delivered for local projects: Through Community Project Funding, Ciscomani has directed more than $61 million into all five counties of AZ-06 since 2023, from new radios for the Sahuarita Police Department and additional patrol vehicles for Tucson PD, to a new fire station in Pima and road repairs in Eloy, plus critical investments in schools and water infrastructure districtwide.
“I don't let the dysfunction in Washington stand in the way of real results for Arizona,” said Ciscomani. “My responsibility is to deliver results for the district, and that's exactly what we've done. I'll stand up to, or work with, either party to deliver for the people of Arizona's Sixth District because that's who I work for and that's who I'll always put first.”
While Ciscomani has built a record of delivering bipartisan results for Arizona, his opponent, Democrat JoAnna Mendoza, has embraced the partisan politics and extreme agenda that are the problem in our politics today. This November, voters will have a clear choice between proven results and an extreme partisan agenda.
